At 388 pounds, there was a good chance that the bad guys could outrun 34-year-old California security guard Richard. His weight had not only impacted his ability to perform his job, but other areas of his life. But that was until he discovered Isagenix®. Years of overeating had taken a toll on Richard, who used to be active, muscular and had even pursued martial arts. After he witnessed a co-worker’s success with Isagenix, he decided to try a system. Shortly after he decided to sign up for the 2008 IsaBody Challenge™ and commit to changing his lifestyle. “Had I continued on the same path I probably would have ended up in the hospital with major health conditions,” shares Richard, a father of two. “I knew I needed to change my life and am thankful I found Isagenix.” Richard was diligent in sticking to his routine of cleansing two days a week and starting a daily exercise routine. He attributes his success and winning third place in the Challenge’s men’s age 18-39 category to the support of his sponsor and the convenience and ease of following the Isagenix system. “Isagenix is so easy to follow and it’s now a part of my lifestyle,” says Richard, who lost 74 pounds during the Challenge and a total of 102 pounds overall.* “I’m continuing to change my life for the better.” Those changes include spending more time being active with his kids, dating and planning for the future. He’s pursuing a career in law enforcement and knows his size won’t hold him back anymore. “I could hardly jog without losing my breath, but now I can chase down bad guys if needed,” says Richard. “With Isagenix I’m on my way to being able to achieve my lifelong dream and apply for the police force.”
